Must be tomorrow, Brainard schools closed tomorrow, another skating rink. Is that not when we go? I'm sharpening the blades on my skates tonight and getting the chains on the vehicle. See you there-ha!

Bring your tow straps!

If brainerd schools are closed, I haven't heard yet!!  I'm waiting up to hear if I get to sleep in and work on bows tomorrow.    BTW the guy who bought your Osprey is bragging it up right now on Trad Gang on the Pow Wow and Product Reviews.   Chad

He told me, he is 73 years old, good for him, I threw in a dozen really cool wood shafts for the old guy.

That was a very memorable bunny hunt. i can vividly see someone (can't remember who) stopping on the crown of the road then slowly sliding right off the edge!

That was me in the Jeep, I stopped and the wind blew me to the side (thought I was going over) - Tod had to pull me. Your right, I will never forget that "hunt"

Still can't believe people actually drove up from the cities and Mankato that morning.  Even Chris Niskenan from the Pioneer Press came up and did a story.

Wonder if this Simon & Garfunkel song was playing on the radio?   "Slip sliding away, slip sliding away
You know the nearer your destination, the more you slip sliding away".

You wouldn't believe things I've gone through to go shoot my bow and hunt Smiley
