Did anyone apply?
I tried (since I didn't get drawn for moose). It looks like it would be a fun hunt.
Of course, anytime one can hunt is fun.

Where are these elk and is there any public land to hunt? I wonder how easy it would be to get permision it the area.

Good Morning fella's, there are a couple of wildlife managemnet area's in the Grigla area. Also because elk are large grazers some of the land owner's are not happy to have them camped out on there property for to long. If you want you can contact the DNR they have person that is incharge of the elk management his name is Donovan Pietrusewski.
